AUDIENCE:   Anyone interested in the new PowerShell from Microsoft, this course is also perfect for Exchange Server 2007 administrators (since Exchange 2007 administration is based primarily on Windows PowerShell) as well as Windows administrators.

PREREQUISITES:   Delegates must have a good technical appreciation of the latest Windows Operating Systems. No previous experience of PowerShell is required.

DURATION:   2 days. Hands on. Optional third day covers Active Directory Scripting Interface (ADSI) and Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI).

OBJECTIVES:   This course is the first of three, totalling 5 days during which you will learn to use Microsoft’s new environment for Windows and server administration: Windows PowerShell! This course guides you through the essentials of what PowerShell is, how it works, why you can’t afford to live without it, and—most importantly—how to use it to make everyday administrative tasks faster, easier, and more consistent.
