IDMSX for VME Program Developers




AUDIENCE:   This course is for applications programmers, technical and production support staff. Operations analysts will also benefit from this course.

PREREQUISITES:   Delegates should have knowledge of COBOL and have some experience of the VME environment

DURATION:   5 days. Hands on.

OBJECTIVES:   This course provides experienced COBOL programmers with the skills and understanding to design, code and test programs to access an IDMS database. The concepts and principles underlying IDMS are explored and all elements of Data Manipulation Language are taught in depth and practised in hands-on workshop sessions.
