Solaris System Administration - Part 2




AUDIENCE:   This course is for an experienced Solaris System Administrator, or delegates who have recently attended the Solaris 10 System Administration Part 1 course and require to administer a SPARCTM, AMD64 or x86 based Solaris server.

PREREQUISITES:   Attendees should have a good basic understanding of Solaris System Administration, gained through the Solaris System Administration Part 1 course, and at least three months practical experience.

DURATION:   4 days. Hands on

OBJECTIVES:   The Solaris 10 System Administration Part 2 course is for users who have attended the Solaris System Administration Part 1 course and require to administer a Solaris based server. The delegate will learn how to install Solaris on the server, administer devices, set-up basic networking, NFS, NIS and configure a JumpStart server.

On completion of the course, delegates will have covered all topics essential for the Sun Certified Solaris Administrator Part 2 exam.
