Linux Enterprise Server Administration (Red Hat)




AUDIENCE:   Computer users who have attended our UNIX or Linux Essentials course or have equivalent knowledge and will be required to administer one or more RHEL systems.

PREREQUISITES:   Delegates should have attended our UNIX or Linux Essentials course or have equivalent knowledge.

DURATION:   4 days. Hands on.

OBJECTIVES:   Linux is finding its way into business, education and government. Due to its outstanding reliability, performance and low cost, Linux is being used extensively for file, database and web server applications. The course is designed to cover in detail the essential topics required to administer these systems. As there are many Enterprise Linux distributions, the choice of distribution used on the course is at the discretion of the client.

The Linux Enterprise Server Administration course will allow delegates to manage their Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) system including adding user accounts; install software and hardware; access disk devices & boot-up and shut down systems.
