Oracle 10G SQL for End Users




AUDIENCE:   The course has been designed for System Analysts, Managers and End Users.

PREREQUISITES:   IT professionals who have some familiarity with the base operating system on which the database is mounted (e.g. Unix, Windows etc).

DURATION:   2 days. Hands on.

OBJECTIVES:   On completion of the course delegates will be able to:
Query and manipulate data.
Use SQL*Plus to format query output.

Explore Relational Principles and Oracle Concepts
Examine the basic SQL statement
Restrict and sort data
Discuss single row functions and the use of NUMBER and CHAR functions
Discuss single row DATE and CONVERSION functions
Display Data Using Multiple Tables
Aggregate data using group functions
Write subqueries
Examine SQL*Plus
Manipulate data
