Attending Verhoefs Oracle SQL Part 1 or equivalent knowledge is essential. |

| OBJECTIVES: |
This class will teach students the purpose of, capabilities and how to use the Discoverer Administrator tool. This tool allows users to create an End User Layer, which serves as a metalayer between the data source and Discoverer. Students will also learn how to create and manage business areas, which will hide the complexity of the data source and provide a user-friendly view of the data for end users. This class will present a thorough knowledge of the Discoverer tool. Thereafter, each user can learn to apply this knowledge to the company's internal data model. Data administrators are in the best position to explain the company's data model. |
