This course is aimed at database administrators and managers in organisations with large systems who are planning to migrate to Oracle 10G from an earlier release or who have already done so. |
| PREREQUISITES: |
Delegates should be experienced Oracle 9i DBAs who are familiar with the features of the Oracle 9i release. |

| OBJECTIVES: |
The main changes that might concern or interest the DBA are covered during the course, allowing you to not only manage the new database but to be aware of options as reasons for migrating your Oracle image to the new release. You will gain an appreciation on what is on offer from the release and how the new features presented might enhance the capabilities of the Oracle platform. The event is enhanced with hands-on investigations of some of the 10G new features. Please note that Oracle 10G Grid computing is a specialised application in its own right and is not covered in detail in this new features overview. |
