z/OS Advanced Operations




AUDIENCE:   This course is for operations staff responsible for managing, monitoring and controlling the configuration of z/OS systems.

PREREQUISITES:   Persons attending this course should be familiar with z/OS This knowledge can be obtained by attending our z/OS For Beginners course.

DURATION:   4 days. Hands on.

OBJECTIVES:   On completion of the course delegates will be familiar with the technical set-up of z/OS systems. They will be able to understand the basic tailoring to the system at IPL time and be able to establish from PARMLIB, HCD or via operator commands, the configuration of the system.
