DB2 UDB for z/OS Data Sharing Recovery and Restart




AUDIENCE:   This is an advanced course suitable for DBAs, systems programmers, operations personnel, and anyone involved DB2 Data Sharing recovery.

PREREQUISITES:   Students should be familiar with DB2 recovery and restart in a non-Data Sharing environment.

DURATION:   2 days. (Optional Hands on)

OBJECTIVES:   The course looks in detail at the new modes of failure introduced by DB2 Data Sharing. Each mode of failure and the appropriate recovery procedure is discussed.
The course can be taught as theory-only. Alternatively, the lecturer can demonstrate recovery from selected modes of failure during the course.
