DB2 9 for z/OS Transition




AUDIENCE:   This course is designed for IT personnel who need to know DB2 9 z/OS facilities and how it might affect them. The course is arranged so that the first day will cover those changes that will affect both the applications programmers and administrators. The second day will concentrate on those aspects that affect the administrators.

PREREQUISITES:   Those attending the course should be familiar with DB2 at a previous release level.

DURATION:   2 days. Hands on.

OBJECTIVES:   The course is designed to instruct those delegates who are fairly confident in designing, writing and testing DB2 and now need to know the facilities, functions and changes that are available to them with DB2 9 for z/OS.
