The course is for support or operations staff who are required to provide ad-hoc assistance to the Oracle DBA function. Such delegates might include PC support, mainframe operators or UNIX system administrators. |
| PREREQUISITES: |
A strong understanding of using an Oracle based system, good knowledge of SQL, SQL*Plus and preferably, PL/SQL. Attendance at our Oracle SQL and SQL*Plus Part 1 course would give the ideal level of knowledge to attend this course. |

| OBJECTIVES: |
Attendees will be able to use standard features and facilitates of Oracle to be able to provide routine administration and maintenance an Oracle database without recourse to external assistance. On completion of the course delegates will be able to:
